AUSCHWITZPARK: APPLIED PROJECT AND ANALYSIS OF THE SPACES THEME

Interactive audiovisual made up false-panoramics through appropriations and creations, there is a new hybrid space between the two spaces: Auschwitz and Spreepark. We examined the historical transformation of urban and leisure to develop a critical view on the mercantile and political mutation involved. Approach to this debate on the sacredness of the Holocaust and its impact on our visual culture. Closer reflection of the space created Auschwitzpark the user to make a speech on the themes of the spaces in which we live.

SASIADKA (NEIGHBOUR)

My neighbor from Krakow, I have never known it personally (only through the window).
Often we greeted ourselves smiling, the maximum smile that in her I could see.
When finalizing my recordings this greater woman disappeared of the building and at
the moment I have not been able to know nothing of her.
The observed life atraves of a window; this idea excites to me although also it saddens
to me. As a delay, a tired delay, an eternal delay.

…Work inspired directly of Klezmer music…create an atmosphere of nostalgia and memory, being shown fragments of a factory of lutier in Kazimierz…A factory where the artisan instruments are in delay, awaiting which it wants to put his heart and to make sound it…The passage of time…Visual metaphors between violins and Jewish tombs, of the Jewish cemetery of Kazimierz…The empty and solitary way of the end remembers to us that we are ephemeral in our steps.
